A Little Book Signing Miracle…

I told the What the Faulk Show podcast last night about a little book signing miracle:
A woman stood before the table, clutching her book in a way that told me she had something important to say.
“This changed the way I see my family…and myself.”
Whoa. I set the pen down.

“We lost the farm when I was just a kid and I thought it was because, you know, we were bad at business. But your book walked me through these big changes in ag in a way that I could understand — like the push of fertilizers and no more price protections and the whole industrialization — well, I see now it wasn’t our fault.”
“Yeah,” I felt a lump in my throat, “the deck was stacked against you.”
“Well, I wanted you to know I see everything differently now.”
